Our Values

  • Celebration of Irish culture within the community binds diverse groups together transcending differences.

  • Talent will flourish in an environment that embraces inclusion and diversity.

  • Integrity and excellence are at the core of all we do.

  • Youth will feel pride in their contribution when treated with dignity and care.

  • A way will be found to give access to individuals of varying economic means.

  • Volunteers are critical to success and will thrive in an environment that ensures mutual respect and appreciation.

 The Action Plan

  • Offer a diverse curriculum of traditional music, dance, language and other cultural experiences for all age groups at varying levels of learning.

  • Facilitate the creation of life-long friendships by organizing ensembles and inclusive events such as music sessions, céilí dances and other events.

  • Seek out performance opportunities in the community to help nurture confidence and individuality as students share their passion for the Irish culture.

  • Support participation in national and global competitions as a vessel for development and a way to connect more deeply with the global Irish community.

  • Create a school model that will remain financially viable and ensure long-term growth.

IrishFest Atlanta was launched by Irish Traditions Atlanta in November 2013 to promote the culture of Ireland through the country’s traditional music, song, dance, literature, language, and other aspects of the culture. An important aspect of IrishFest Atlanta is its featured guest artists of International, National, and Regional reputation who teach and perform throughout the weekend. The goal is to introduce, recognize, preserve, and enhance the amazing impact that Ireland and the Irish have had and continue to have around the globe.
